Barbara T Green

President & Owner

Barbara Green has over 30 years of management experience. Prior to joining Blue Mountain in May of 2007 as President, Ms Green as Chief Financial Officer of Gestalt, LLC was an owner and key member of the management team that grew the company that started in September, 2001 to a $50 million system integration consulting company for the energy and defense industry. The company was sold to Accenture at the end of 2007. Between 1998 and 2001, Ms Green was the Director of Sales Operations for Breakaway Solutions a full service Internet provider with offices throughout the United States.

Her experience in the ski industry occurred between 1993 and 1998 where she served as controller for Blue Mountain Ski Area focusing on implementation of a new ticketing system. Prior to joining the ski area, Ms Green was the controller for seven years at Rouse & Associates, a billion dollar real estate Company headquartered in Malvern Pennsylvania. Ms Green participated in all major management decisions as the company grew from 80 people with 3 regional offices and 70 partnerships to over 250 people with 12 regional offices and over 200 partnerships. After graduating from Lehigh University in 1979, Ms Green joined Ernst & Young, an international CPA firm, where she supervised audits on manufacturing, construction, health care and insurance clients.

Terry Elsemore

Terry Elsemore has over 28 years of experience in the resort real estate industry, with a major focus on large fractional interest condominium resort hotels.

During his tenure, Elsemore has been involved with the development of over 90% of all the existing fractional projects in New England today. He has specialized in project design, sales and marketing, legal documentation, development planning and project management at resorts that include:

The Tamarack Club at Holiday Valley Resort, Ellicottville, NY; The Kaatskill Mountain Club at Hunter Mountain Resort, Hunter, NY; The Jackson Gore Inn at Okemo Mountain Resort, Ludlow, VT; five Grand Summit Hotels throughout New England and The Overlook Town Homes at Topnotch Resort & Spa, Stowe, Vermont.

Brandon Elsemore

Vice President
Fractional Strategies, Inc.

Brandon Elsemore began marketing and selling fractional resort properties in 2006. He was a major component to the success of a 2007 winter sales launch event, with over 25% of a $46 million project sold during the first day and a total of over $28 million in sales over the following four months during an unstable economic environment, leading to the success of the project.

Since 2007, Brandon has moved into the role of Project Director at multiple resort condominium hotel projects, overseeing all sales and marketing operations. This includes: lead generation, brand and creative design, website development, traditional and digital advertising, sales management, training, sales objectives, sales planning, overseeing sales launches, inventory controller and database management.

Kate McGrath

Club Representative
Vista Lodge Residence Club at Blue Mountain Resort

Kate McGrath has been working with Terry and Brandon for over 4 years at other fractional condominium resort hotel projects. Kate’s focus is on customer relationship management and lead retention. During Vista Lodge’s whisper campaign this winter, Kate will be managing the information desk at the Summit Lodge, providing the most up-to-date information, product education and answering questions.

Jim Dailey

General Manager
Blue Mountain Resort

Jim Dailey has over 20 years of management experience and 25 years of ski area operational experience. In 1988, Mr. Dailey joined the ranks of Blue Mountain through the National Ski Patrol. In 1990, Jim became a full time professional patroller. By 1994 Mr. Dailey became the supervisor of the resort’s professional patrollers and a full time employee of the ski area. In 1995, Mr. Dailey accepted the position of risk manager and was elected to the position of assistant patrol director by his peers. As risk manager, he reduced or eliminated losses and liabilities through pro-active incident prevention programs, incident investigation, and the proper handling of incidents before they became claims.

With his experience, accented by his degree in paralegal studies, Mr. Dailey assisted legal counsel in all aspects of discovery and defense. In 2001 Jim was elected to the position of ski patrol director by his 180+ fellow patrollers. Mr. Dailey was responsible for the overall operation and performance of one of the largest ski patrols in the United States. He served as chief executive officer on the patrol’s executive committee. He was the direct liaison with resort management and local emergency medical services. Mr. Dailey sat on each of the patrol’s six standing sub committees which include: training, fundraising, lift evacuation, construction, risk management, and group presentations.

From May 2000 to February 2008 Mr. Dailey left Blue Mountain in a full time capacity and became a field service representative for Blue Ridge Communications (a division of PENCOR), one of PA’s larger telecommunications providers. During that time, Mr. Dailey created and implemented a successful FCC required cumulative leakage indexing program and directed the daily work of technicians. While working for PENCOR, Mr. Dailey continued to serve as Blue Mountain’s ski patrol director. Mr. Dailey was chosen to be shop steward and chief contract negotiator by his peers.

In February of 2008 Mr. Dailey returned to Blue Mountain as Marketing Director and was responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies through product improvement, advertising, and sales promotion programs. Mr. Dailey became the general manger of Blue Mountain in September 2009 and, along with the president, is responsible for the policies and operations of the company.

David Deal

Chief Financial Officer
Blue Mountain Resort

David joined the company in June 2008. He brings over 20 years of financial and management experience to the company. David oversees the financial, accounting, human resources and information technology departments at Blue Mountain Resort.

David joined Blue Mountain Resort from Gestalt, LLC where he held a position of Revenue Risk Manager. David was responsible for financial analysis, contracts management, sales support and pricing for all contracts within the government business unit. Prior to assuming the Revenue Risk Manager position at Gestalt, David was the controller. He was responsible for the day to day operations and implementing the necessary financial systems as the company was growing at over 50% per year.

Prior to joining Gestalt, David held financial and accounting positions in multi-million dollar consulting and engineering companies and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant. David earned his BS in Accounting from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1993.

Tricia Matsko

Director of Marketing & Sales
Blue Mountain Resort

Tricia has over 20 years of experience in Marketing, Communications & Public Relations.

Tricia initiated and developed re-branding marketing campaigns for non-profit organizations, securing 100% brand awareness and safeguarding financial stability for multiple institutions

Tricia’s background was in television and radio as a News Anchor and Reporter at NBC & CBS affiliate stations in states that include Wisconsin, Alaska, Pennsylvania & Michigan. She was responsible for writing news copy, producing and editing nightly newscasts, managed weekend news team and delegated tasks to crews in addition to anchoring weekend nightly news. Tricia worked with the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce in planning and developing strong community relations and working primarily with the Green Bay Packer Football team.

As a key member of the Blue Mountain Management Team, Tricia is responsible for development and implementing a marketing and communications strategy, ensuring that all employees are stimulated, motivated and guided to contribute fully to the realization of Blue Mountain’s mission, vision, goals and objectives.
